Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef personality. Burrell was also an instructor for the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell hosts on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host sporting spiky blonde hair and an ebullient personality, explains how to prepare restaurant-style meals in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell also worked at the top New York restaurants, has been studying the Italian food and culture as well as participated in Food Network's Iron Chef America. Growing up in the upper reaches of New York area, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and food at a young age. The Culinary Institute of America is where she went following her graduation with an English degree as well as a communications diploma in Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic experience. I was never able to learn or do enough. After graduation, Burrell spent one year learning in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in Umbria's La Taverna del Lupo as in Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, an Michelin-starred restaurant. While in Italy, she developed a deep appreciation and understanding of Italian food and culture. This is a huge influence on how Burrell approaches her cuisine. Burrell is a well-known ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists children with obstacles. She is a frequent guest speaker at conferences and travels the country in her mentorship task. Anne often has mentioned throughout her culinary career she is incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to share with others what is truly important for her.
