Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a Canadian singer, actress and musician. She is most famous for her roles as Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character in Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She was also in films like RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted and independent film Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The film was directed and written by her. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat marketer and a sales/marketing executive. This job required a lot of travel and led to frequent family moves. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mom and secretary, died in 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother in Kitchener (Ontario) played a part in the raising of her daughter. Her younger brother named John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and an identical twin sister, Jacqueline, who is a magazine writer and TV host in Canada. Hennessy's ancestral ancestry includes Irish, French, Swedish and Italian descendents from her father's and mostly Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. After graduation from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both in Kitchener), she attended Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also took part on the Toronto subway. Hennessy as well as her sibling made their acting debut as twins in the 1988 film Dead Ringers. According to Gillian Anderson (the actress who got the role), she was shortlisted for Dana Scully's part in The X-Files. In 1993, Hennessy was signed by Dick Wolf as Claire Kincaid an assistant district attorney on the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role was played by her for three seasons before she left the show in 1996.
