Gillian MacLaren Jacobs
Gillian MacLaren Jacobs was born October 19, 1982. She is an American actor. Her roles include Britta Perry (NBC comedy series 2009-2015), Mickey Dobbs (Netflix romantic comedy series Love (2016)-2018) as well as Atom Eve (Amazon animated series Invincible 2021). Mimi-Rose was her regular role in the fourth season of the HBO comedy-drama Girls (2012-2017). She has also been seen in films like Life Partners (2014), Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015) and Don't Think Twice (2016). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 19th, 1982. Martina Magenau Jacobs her mother is an alumni relations manager at Carnegie Mellon University. William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investment banker. Her father died in 2013. She was born in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family owned the Erie Brewing Company (not to be confused with the later brewery bearing the identical name) in which her father, John Martin Magenau Jr., served as president and CEO until it was shut down in 1978.Jacobs began her acting studies at the age of four, and attended weekend acting classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up. She performed regularly at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. This led to her being cast in Titania's production A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. in 2000, she graduated from Lebanon High School. Then she moved to New York City for the Juilliard School. There, she graduated with a BFA degree in 2004.
